Gru Reale is a one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic bowl measuring 12.5 × 12.5 × 2.5 inches. The design brings together Asian and Italian influences, combining the elegance and symbolic character of East Asian decorative imagery with the layered ornament and concentric structure associated with historic Italian majolica.

A stylized crane-like bird anchors the center, surrounded by radiating bands of intricate pattern, deep black texture, and softly aged blue, cream, and terracotta tones. The composition has a ceremonial quality, balancing Eastern-inspired symbolism with Renaissance and Italian decorative sensibilities. Luminous gold embellishments trace the layered bands and add a refined sense of depth and luxury.

Created entirely by hand, Gru Reale is a singular ceramic work that merges two decorative traditions into a distinctive collectible object.
