Sicilia I is a one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic plate measuring 12 × 12 × 1.75 inches. Its highly detailed composition is built through concentric bands of geometric pattern, ornamental scrollwork, dark textural fields, and richly colored figurative imagery, all drawn inward toward a striking central face motif. Inspired by the decorative traditions of Sicily, Italian Renaissance ornament, and historic majolica, the piece combines deep black, vivid red, ochre, violet, and green with luminous gold embellishments that accentuate the layered design.

Created individually by hand, Sicilia I is a singular ceramic artwork intended to function as both a decorative object and a collectible statement piece.
