Taormina II is a one-of-a-kind handmade ceramic lidded jar measuring 7.125 × 7.125 × 4.25 inches. Its surface is organized into stacked decorative bands, combining intricate floral pattern, geometric ornament, dark textured passages, and a vivid central field of red and orange blossoms. The layered composition creates a strong architectural rhythm, with each section separated and emphasized by luminous gold embellishments.

Inspired by Sicilian and broader Italian decorative traditions, Taormina II blends the character of historic majolica with a darker, aged surface treatment and richly saturated color. Created entirely by hand, this singular vessel is both a functional ceramic form and a collectible work of art.
